Today was our first little rain since we arrived, and also… my first day in DR wearing Jeans, like the locals do. The teachers in my spanish class were all like "¿que pasó?" and I was all like "¿porque, yo soy como un dominicano, no?" Well not really, but they did do a double take and ask questions, and I stuttered something back. True story.
Anyways, went for a photowalk after the last spanish class. Below are some of the pics I got today.
One more thing though.. as you can prob see from some of the photos, the phone/electrical wiring in this city is somewhat creative. Mostly we just go haha, but today we got our umbrellas stuck in fallen phone lines all the time, dumb. Maybe the woman with plastic bag on her head in one of my photos has the right idea. Umbrellas are annoying.
